Before you begin measuring your head, make sure your hair is braided down or laying flat (with or without a wig cap). Your hair must be in the same shape you would have it right before applying the wig. This will eliminate bulges that distort head contours. Use a tape measure to measure. Most lace wig measurements are made in inches. Do not stretch the tape measure tape when measuring. * When measuring, place your measuring tape outside of your natural hairline.

Please note - Always place the tape exactly where you would like your wig to sit on your head.

Hair Loss Clients - If your hairline is too far back as a result of hair loss, place your tape exactly where you would like the lace or hair to start from.

Glueless Wig Clients - You may consider reducing your ear-to-ear measurements by 1" as glueless caps stretch and tend to run bigger.

Handling:
- Handle your wig with clean hands to prevent oil and dirt transfer.
- Avoid pulling or tugging on the hair; be gentle when brushing or styling.
Storage:
- Store your wig on a wig stand or mannequin to maintain its shape.
- Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Washing:
- Use a wig-specific shampoo and conditioner such as Tresemme products.
- Gently detangle the wig before washing, starting from the tips and working your way up.
- Soak the wig in lukewarm water and gently wash, avoiding excessive rubbing.
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
Drying:
- Pat the wig dry with a towel to remove excess water.
- Place the wig on a wig stand to air dry. Avoid using heat styling tools while the wig is wet.
- Do not wring or twist the wig; let it air dry naturally.
Styling:
- Use a wide-tooth comb or wig brush to detangle the hair.
- Style your wig only when it's dry. Use styling tools and products designed for human hair wigs.
Heat:
- Use a heat protectant when working with high-heat styling tools
- Avoid excessive heat to prevent damage.
Avoiding Friction:
- Minimize friction with clothing collars and scarves to prevent twisting up the hair cuticles which may eventually result in some tangling in the long run.
- Be cautious with rough surfaces to avoid damage.
Trimming:
- If needed, trim the ends of the wig for a fresh look.
- Seek professional help for major styling or cutting.
Frequency of Cleaning:
- Clean your wig depending on your usage, but generally, every 6-8 wears is recommended.
